The first voco hotel in Ireland, voco Belfast, has opened in Belfast’s Gasworks district on the site of the former Radisson Blu hotel after a €4.25m refurbishment.
Part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, voco Belfast hosted 200 guests to its launch event, including key figures from the tourism industry.
Purchased by Cliste Hospitality in 2023, voco Belfast offers 120 premium guest rooms, a bar, restaurant, outdoor terrace, event space, and convenient location near city landmarks.

A study conducted by Construction Information Systems (CIS) Ireland identified 13 hotel projects progressing through different phases of development within the city, from a base in 2023 of 39 hotels offering a combined total of 5,040 rooms.
Approval was granted in 2023 for an additional eight hotel ventures in Belfast, which included a 163-room hotel at Centre House on Chichester Street, a 20-room hotel on Hill Street, and a 132-unit aparthotel on Bedford Street.
