The Guinness Storehouse took top spot as the busiest location nationally according to data revealed by Freenow by Lyft.
Ireland’s cities welcomed a large number of visitors this St Patrick’s Day with tens of thousands of passengers passing through airports.
In Cork hotels featured as some of the top destinations for taxi drop offs while city centre streets such as Lombard Street in Galway and Little Catherine Street in Limerick proved popular.
The top St Patrick’s Day hotspots in Dublin included the Guinness Storehouse at St James’s Gate the Square Tallaght McGowans Phibsborough Iveagh Gardens Dublin 2 and Tallaght Stadium Tallaght.
The top St Patrick’s Day hotspots in Cork included the Dean Hotel Cork City Centre Washington Street Cork City Centre Mahon Point Shopping Centre Mahon Munster Technological University Bishopstown and Clayton Hotel Silver Springs Tivoli.
