The Enforcement Orders were a result of various violations, such as people living in food preparation areas, pest infestations, poor hygiene practices, and inadequate training or food safety systems.

Pamela Byrne, the FSAI’s Chief Executive, highlighted the importance of food businesses complying with food law and having a strong food safety culture.

The FSAI publishes details of the businesses served with Enforcement Orders on their website, with Closure and Improvement Orders listed for three months from the correction of issues, and Prohibition Orders listed for one month after being lifted.
