
Pegasus airlines launched their new Dublin to Ankara route with a gate ceremony at gat 209 yesterday.
The new service will operate three times per week from Dublin to Ankara on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays using an Airbus A321neo aircraft, known for their fuel-efficiency
The launch at Dublin Airport was attended by the Ambassador of Turkey Mehmet Hakan Olcay and the Pegasus Airlines team
The route is expected to be popular with passengers and will enhance tourism and business ties between Turkey and Ireland,
Gary McLean, Managing Director of Dublin Airport said: “this is an exciting new addition to the schedule at Dublin Airport that is sure to prove very popular with passengers.”
Onur Dedeköylü, Pegasus Airlines’ CCO, said: “Our new Ankara-Dublin route not only adds a new destination to our growing European network but also links the capitals of Türkiye and Ireland, enhancing tourism and business ties between our nations.”
