The States’ Trading Supervisory Board (STSB) of the Guernsey government has met with Aurigny Air Services management to address “unacceptable level of service” due to cancellations and delays.

STSB urged Aurigny Air Services to build “full resilience within the fleet” following repeated criticisms and disruptions.

Aurigny Air Services received two new ATR72-600s in early August 2024, increasing its fleet to four units and replacing its only jet, an E195.

The carrier is set to receive a fifth ATR72-600 by the end of August and also operates two Do228-212(NG)s on local routes from Guernsey to Alderney and Southampton.
