Hook Lighthouse is offering free tours on Saint Patrick’s Day for visitors named Patrick or Patricia.
On March 16th, a family-friendly Snake Hunt will take place from 1 pm to 3 pm, hosted by Pirate Lizzie on the lighthouse lawns.
The event weekend will also include indoor art workshops led by local artist Rose, providing creative activities for attendees.
Hook Lighthouse, over 800 years old, is the oldest intact operational lighthouse in the world, showcasing Ireland’s rich history and culture.
The award-winning Visitor Centre features exhibits, a gift shop, a café, and guided tours, providing opportunities for visitors to learn about the lighthouse’s unique history.
