Hurtigruten Expeditions (HX) has launched its 2026-27 season, celebrating 130 years of exploration with new itineraries in Antarctica, Alaska, Greenland, Norway, and the Galápagos Islands.

Alex McNeil, the chief expedition officer, emphasised the company’s commitment to enhancing local partnerships and community-focused experiences to ensure a positive impact at each destination.

A highlight of the season includes the Solar Eclipse Expedition on August 12, 2026, which will take travelers to Svalbard, Greenland, and Iceland to view a total solar eclipse.

New offerings include the Ultimate Norway expedition featuring a seven-night journey through Norway’s scenic regions, as well as new Alaska itineraries, and the Iconic Antarctica – The Explorer’s Route, a nine-day exploration of the Antarctic Peninsula.
