The European Convention of the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO) has concluded in Malaga having attracted 750 industry leaders, golf course operators, resort owners, and travel agencies.
IAGTO, established in 1997, hosts a membership of 2,346 accredited entities in the golf tourism sector across 95 countries, with a core of 667 specialist golf tour operators in 69 countries.
The convention featured two days of pre-scheduled 20-minute meetings based on delegate requests, providing opportunities to forge partnerships and explore new avenues in the golf tourism industry.
In addition to business meetings, the convention included the IEC Golf Tournament across three golf courses and various networking events like Welcome Cocktail Receptions, the IEC Celebration Dinner, and the Dine-Around in Malaga City for delegates to enjoy and engage further.
