The International Air Transport Association opened nominations for the 2026 Diversity & Inclusion Awards in three categories.
The Inspirational Role Model Award recognised a senior woman with global influence on diversity in aviation.
The High Flyer Award recognised a female professional under 40 who demonstrated leadership in diversity actions.
The Diversity & Inclusion Team Award recognised an IATA member airline that achieved measurable change in diversity.
Each award carried a USD 25,000 prize sponsored by Qatar Airways, with winners announced at the 82nd AGM in Rio de Janeiro on 6-8 June 2026.
Willie Walsh shared “A diverse and inclusive aviation sector is essential to attract the talent needed to support the growth of the industry and enable it to deliver connectivity that underpins trade, tourism, jobs, and economic development.
