Iberostar has reported sales growth of ten per cent in EMEA during June and July 2026 and aims to maintain a similar pace. The hotel group has performed strongly in the European, Middle East and African markets during the peak summer season. The growth has been driven by higher room rates rather than occupancy gains.
The company’s performance has mirrored the wider trend in the Spanish hospitality sector, where average daily rates have climbed 5.9pc and have now increased for 61 consecutive months. Other operators including RIU, Sercotel and Hesperia have also forecast solid revenue increases driven mainly by tariff improvements.
Demand has remained resilient across the EMEA region despite rising prices. Occupancy has stabilised or softened in some destinations as travellers adjust their booking behaviours.
