The Irish Business & General Aviation Association (IBGAA) is staging its annual business aviation and luxe tourism conference in the K-Club in Kildare for its third edition on November 14th.
The event will feature a pre-conference gathering at Weston Airport with a static display of business aircraft, helicopters, and cars, as well as a welcome reception. Gulfstream Aerospace has confirmed headline sponsorship, with several major aviation brands set to be involved.
Business aviation at Dublin Airport has been secured following a positive outcome for GA, with the Irish Aviation Authority deciding to avoid capping GA at the airport for the upcoming season. This decision was praised by IBGAA, NBAA, and EBAA for its adaptability and responsiveness to industry needs.
The lobby groups stress the importance of GA access at Dublin Airport for USA-based multinational companies operating in the region and highlighted the significant contribution of the GA sector to the Irish economy, supporting over 2,000 jobs and nearly €1bn. Joe Buckley, founding executive, and other IBGAA members will attend EBACE in Geneva next week.
