James Harrison has been appointed as the London based Ireland Sales Manager for SunExpress, a joint venture of Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, bringing nearly 30 years of aviation industry experience to the role from previous positions at British Airways, Gulf Air, and Etihad Airways.
Harrison will work alongside SunExpress’ GSA Aviareps in Ireland, having previously served as Aviareps’ Head of Aviation responsible for driving revenue across multiple segments.
SunExpress is experiencing rapid growth in Ireland, offering services from Dublin to Antalya and Izmir.
SunExpress aims to cater to various travel types beyond ‘summer sun and beach’ trips, including cultural, archaeological, and culinary tourism, as well as sports travel, and was recently named the Best Leisure Airline in Europe at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2024.
