Dublin-based tour operator Oomi Travel, specialising in bespoke holidays to Japan and India, has entered the liquidation process after ceasing trading in November following twenty years of operation.
Formerly known as Unique Japan Tours, the company has ceased normal functions, leaving customers potentially facing unfulfilled bookings and financial losses.
The Irish Travel Agents Association described the closure as a sad event for the industry, while the IAA’s consumer protection scheme allows affected individuals to submit claims for redress by June twenty fifth.
