Taoiseach Simon Harris has officially opened the Listowel Bypass in Co Kerry
The bypass cost €62m and diverts 7,000 vehicles, including 250 heavy goods vehicles, away from Listowel town centre.
It consists of 3.6km of a new single carriageway, 2.3km of improvement works to the John B Keane Road, and 1.5km of new roundabouts and improvements at junctions along the busy N69.
