The McGettigan Group is investing €5m in the refurbishment and renovation of the Nuremore Hotel in Co Monaghan. The hotel, a notable landmark in Carrickmacross, is scheduled to reopen in late 2025 after extensive upgrades.
Initial works aim to have the leisure centre and up to 20 rooms available by September 26, 2025. The project will create over 100 new jobs in the local community while enhancing leisure facilities and accommodations. Monaghan County Council has been providing support and direction throughout the redevelopment process.
Dennis McGettigan shared, “Our mission is to breathe new life into this historic property whilst honouring its legacy. We have a bold vision for the future of this wonderful property and we look forward to opening its doors to the public later this year.”
