The Mealiff family has sold Hotel Kilmore in Cavan after 20 years of ownership.
The O’Callaghan family, owners of The Gateway and Fairways Hotels in Dundalk and the Keadeen Hotel in Kildare, purchased the property. The deal completed through CBRE despite earlier denials of sale in June 2025.
The new owners stated their focus would remain on continuity and guest experience enhancement. The Mealiff family expressed confidence in the buyers who shared similar values.
