
APT has appointed Michelle Ryan as its first country manager for Ireland to enhance the trade business for its Travelmarvel brand, reporting to head of sales and business development, Brad Bennetts.
Her responsibilities include fostering relationships with travel agents and retail partners, and plans are in place to organize dedicated fam trips for Irish agents in 2025.
Michelle brings over 10 years of travel industry experience, particularly in business development and sales, having previously worked at Royal Caribbean International where she built partnerships with various travel entities in Ireland.
Bennetts expressed confidence in Ryan’s ability to advance the Travelmarvel brand in Ireland, while Ryan looks forward to helping agents leverage opportunities and enhancing partnerships through joint marketing initiatives and exclusive training.
The companys’s strongest sellers include Rhine and Danube river cruising on Travelmarvel’s Contemporary River Ships, and the Douro in Northern Portugal, driven by the launch of the brand’s new MS Estrela river ship.
