Mount Congreve Gardens launches gardens and grandeur tour

Mount Congreve Gardens and Country Estate in Waterford invited guests to the official opening of Gardens and Grandeur a new guided tour experience on 30 January 2026 at 11:00 a.m. 

The tour included a brand new silver exhibition and first-time access to the rare Chinese Room at Mount Congreve House featuring 18th-century hand-painted wallpaper. Visitors explored the social history and seasonal rhythms of one of Ireland’s great country estates connecting the house elegance with awakening gardens. The silver exhibition showcased dining ceremony with Irish silver Regency furniture clocks and period artefacts curated by Éamonn McEneaney and the Waterford Treasures team. Deputy Metropolitan Mayor Cllr Lola O’Sullivan officially opened the exhibition.
