MSC Cruises has cancelled the first cruise of the European season for the MSC Euribia. The sailing has scheduled departure from Kiel in Germany on 2 May 2026. The LNG-powered vessel has remained docked in Dubai since late February.
The cancellation has followed the ship’s inability to leave the Middle East region as planned which has delayed repositioning to Northern Europe. The seven-night cruise has planned visits to Flam, Hellesylt and Alesund in Norway. MSC has also scheduled the itinerary from Copenhagen in Denmark.
Affected passengers have received options to transfer bookings to any available cruise by 30 November 2026 without modification fee along with a non-refundable onboard credit of up to €200 per person. Guests have also gained the choice to select sailings after 1 December 2026 or to cancel for a full refund without fees. The cancellation has related directly to the ship’s delay.
MSC shared “The MSC Euribia was unable to leave the region as planned; consequently, its repositioning towards Northern Europe has suffered a delay.”
