“Miniature Masterpieces” exhibition in the National Print Museum showcases Irish stamps dating back to 1922.

Over 760 original Irish stamps, along with artwork, design proofs, and printing plates, are on display, some of them for the first time.

The exhibition explores the role of stamps in reflecting Irish cultural identity over the past century.

The exhibition features the first stamps in Ireland, British stamps overprinted with Irish text, as well as more contemporary designs.

The limited edition artwork on display was created in collaboration with designer Niall McCormack and letterpress printer Mary Plunkett.

The exhibition emphasises the enduring value of postage stamps as representatives of Ireland in the digital age.
