Ireland’s inaugural National Trail Conference will be held in County Leitrim from August 31 to September 3, showcasing the natural beauty and outdoor potential of the region with free and ticketed excursions.
The event will include activities such as family-friendly orienteering, kayaking, stand-up paddling, waterfall discovery tours, alpaca tours, and cycling tours, providing a range of outdoor experiences for participants.
The conference on September 2 and 3 in Carrick-on-Shannon will target trail professionals, community groups, and landowners, featuring keynote presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities focused on trail planning, design, maintenance, funding, and advocacy.
