The Trump Doonbeg golf resort in Co Clare reported an increase in operating profits, doubling to €2.06m in 2023, driven by a revenue rise of 12pc to €16.12m.

General Manager Joe Russell highlighted record performance in room rates and golf fees, with peak prices reaching €2,720 per night and green fees rising from €450 to €525 per person in 2025, reflecting strong market demand.

The resort has received accolades from various organizations, including being named one of the top five resorts in Europe by Conde Nast, and expectations for continued growth are high for 2024 and 2025, bolstered by strong advance reservations.

Financial reports showed a pre-tax profit of €488,624 after a loss in 2022, supported by asset disposals, with the Trump Organization investing over €40m in the resort since acquiring it in 2014, including investments in infrastructure and facilities upgrades.
