A new hotel application has been submitted for a 50-bedroom hotel in Carlingford, north Louth. The proposal includes a restaurant, bar, function room, and parking facilities on Greenore Road.
The application was submitted on June 25 2025, with a decision expected by August 19 2025. Currently, Carlingford has two existing hotels, the Four Seasons and Ghan House, along with numerous B&Bs and self-catering options.
The development aims to cater to the growing number of tourists visiting the seaside village each year.
