President Michael D. Higgins opened the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2024 in Wexford town
The Fleadh has been celebrating traditional music and dance since 1951..
Organizsrs expect 500,000 visitors over the week-long festival
The event will feature 15,000 performers from different communities across the country, as well as a traffic management plan and volunteers to assist visitors.
