Ryanair carried record 17.3m passengers in April to retain its position as largest airline in Europe (by a margin), up 8.1c on 2023 and 28.1pc on pre pandemic, rolling annual 185m 60m ahead of second placed Luftansa group.
Ryanair operated 98,400 flights in the month with 700 cancelled due to Israel/Gaza conflict and over 340 flights cancelled due to the French ATC strike on April 25th.
Ryanair load factor for April still 2pc short of April 2023 and 4pc short of pre pandemic.
