Ryanair has announced its third partnership with a travel company, this time Europe’s largest tour operator and charter specialist, TUI.
A written statement form the airline says the arrangement authorises Tui “to offer Ryanair flights, seats, and bags as part of holiday packages without overcharging customers.”
TUI customers will have their correct contact and payment information provided to Ryanair, ensuring access to their myRyanair account and receiving important flight information via email.
The airline claims that this partnership distinguishes TUI from unauthorised OTA Pirates, providing customers with transparent pricing, correct information, and eliminating the need for customer verification processes.
The move follows a decision by OTAs to remove Ryanair from their websites in December which caused shares in the airline to plunge 4pc.
