Joe (JJ) Lally, a former regional manager of Ireland West Tourism, has passed away peacefully.
He is survived by his wife Mary, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.
Warm tributes are being paid to him on social media, highlighting his tireless work for tourism in the west of Ireland.
Reposing will take place at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour in Galway on Thursday, followed by a removal to the Church of Christ the King Church in Salthill. The Requiem Mass will be held on Friday, with burial to follow in Rahoon Cemetery. Deepest sympathy is extended to the bereaved family on their loss.
