The Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin was evacuated before 11am yesterday before a fire was brought under control according to Dublin Fire Brigade.
Road closures in place between St Stephen’s Green North and Kildare Street and the evacuation was deemed effective in dealing with the incident by the emergency services.
No injuries were reported and the firefighting operation ceased around noon, with traffic restrictions in the area lifted soon afterwards.
