Staycity Group has announced its first property in Ireland, a 98-key aparthotel set to open in Belfast’s city centre in 2026, located in the converted former HMRC office space at Beaufort House on Wellington Place.
The new development will feature a mix of studio and one-bedroom apartments, along with amenities like a fitness centre, bar, restaurant, and shop.
The project was initially planned to include accommodation by the US firm Sonder, but they withdrew in favor of an 84-key location elsewhere in Belfast.
In the past year, Belfast has seen hotel projects announced by brands such as Staybridge Suites, YOTEL, Premier Inn, and DoubleTree by Hilton.
