  • Golf course reopens January.
  • Driving range resumes operations.
  • Three green keepers rehired.
  • Finance committee proposed revival.
  • Community meeting supported plan.

Tipperary’s Dundrum House Hotel golf course is to reopen in January after closure. The 18-hole course and driving range has been prepared for visitors despite the fact that the hotel closed abruptly  in on August 26th, affecting 48 jobs as its operator, Brogan Capital Ventures, ceased trading due to the business being loss-making.

A finance committee proposed the reopening and interested parties met in Dundrum Community Hall in December. Up to three green keepers will regain jobs.

The course complemented the hotel’s leisure offerings.
