Tipperary’s Kilcoran Lodge Hotel closes in January amid sale speculation. Staff and guests received notice of closure. of the 25-bedroom property near Cahir on the old Cork to Dublin road near the M8.
Speculation has mounted over a completed deal when the hotel listed recently as a going concern with a guide price stood at €1m.
The hotel has built a reputation lower recent decades and business continued until end of December as the sale process progressed quietly. A leisure centre formed part of the facilities.
