Tourism Ireland hosted 12 enterprises at the IAGTO North American Convention in Alabama aiming to increase golf visitor numbers from North America
The event featured two days of scheduled appointments and networking to foster business relationships for 2025 and beyond.
Participating enterprises included Activities Ireland, Ballybunion Golf Club, Carton House, Castlerock Golf Club, Dunluce Lodge, Galgorm, Killeen Castle, North & West Coast Links Golf Ireland, Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links, SWING Golf Ireland, The K Club, and the Merchant Hotel.
Aisling McDermott, Tourism Ireland’s Head of Global Partnerships, shared: “The IAGTO North American Convention was a fantastic opportunity to showcase Ireland and our world-class golf.”
Upcoming golf events highlighted include The British Open at Royal Portrush, the Irish Open at The K Club in September, and the Ryder Cup at Adare Manor in 2027.
