Tourism Ireland and Tourism NI hosted eight international journalists to explore Ireland’s links to HBO series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. 

The group visited filming locations including Glenarm Castle and Tollymore Forest Park. They toured Belfast’s Titanic Quarter with a Glass of Thrones walking trail and Game of Thrones Studio Tour. Journalists from Britain, France, Spain, Italy, Canada, Belgium, and the Netherlands reach around 10m readers. The visits coincide with the HBO Max premiere to inspire travel.

The initiative builds on the impact of Game of Thrones tourism.
