
TUI Group reported increased occupancy and ticket prices for its cruise lines, including TUI Cruises, Marella Cruises, and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, in the first quarter of 2024.
The company experienced a strong trading environment and attributed the growth to the quality of their cruise products.
Cruise revenue for the first quarter reached 166.8m euros, compared to 115.2m euros in the same period last year. Bookings for the second quarter are up by five per cent, and ticket prices have surged by 18pc.
TUI average daily rates were €169 for TUI Cruises (compared to €139 last year), €678 for Hapag-Lloyd (compared to €669 last year), and €177 for Marella (compared to €158 last year).
