Turkish Airlines has announced one stop flights from Istanbul to Sydney Airport via Kuala Lumpur starting December 5, 2024, with four weekly services.
The flights will be operated on an A350-900 aircraft, featuring 329 seats, including 32 in business class and 297 in economy class.
The introduction of Turkish Airlines follows its initial Australian flights earlier this year, linking Melbourne with Istanbul via Singapore.
With Turkish Airlines’ arrival, Sydney Airport will enhance its status as a key player in Australia-Europe air traffic, now serving as the only Australian airport with two European carriers.
