United Airlines to increase Dublin traffic by 40pc in summer 2025

The airline will double its flight frequency between Dublin and Washington D.C., and introduce the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner on the Dublin to Chicago O’Hare route for enhanced passenger experience.

More flights and seats from Dublin than any other U.S. airline will be available, alongside year-round flights to New York/Newark and seasonal services from Shannon.

This expansion is part of United’s largest international growth in history, introducing new routes and destinations, providing Irish travelers with greater options for U.S. travel and connections to over 150 onward destinations across the Americas.

United Airlines is to expand its services between Dublin and the U.S. for summer 2025, increasing seat availability by over 40pc and offering the highest capacity to date from Dublin.
