United has launched an upgraded app featuring new wayfinding tools and real-time updates for connecting flights at US airports.
The enhanced app provides services like a countdown timer, step-by-step gate directions, and notifications about connections being held.
During spring beta tests, United reported that over 350,000 customers used the app, achieving a 98pc success rate in connections.
David Kinzelman shared: “We know that giving people more information in a transparent and easy-to-understand way can help de-stress the connecting flight experience.”
The app is currently available in English and Spanish, with plans for additional languages and improved navigation tools
