The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has rebranded as UN Tourism, reaffirming its status as the United Nations specialized agency for tourism and the global leader of tourism for development.
The rebranding involved partnering with Interbrand, a leading global branding agency, to create a new visual identity and brand narrative that aligns with UN Tourism’s mission and priorities.
The new brand narrative focuses on the UN as a global altruistic organization, connecting people around the world, and being proactive and movement-oriented.
UN Tourism aims to enhance individual well-being, safeguard the natural environment, stimulate economic advancement, and foster international harmony through its work in promoting sustainable tourism development in line with the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
