Small and medium businesses in the hospitality sector will receive grants of up to €5,000 under a new round of the Increased Cost of Business scheme worth €66m
The Energy Efficiency Grant for small businesses will also increase to a maximum of €10,000.
Minister Peter Burke will announce a change to the PRSI threshold from €441 to €496 from next October, resulting in a lower rate of employer PRSI for businesses with staff earning the minimum wage.
The Innovation Voucher Scheme grant will be doubled from €5,000 to €10,000, and the impact of statutory sick leave will be reviewed before deciding on further increases.
