- Mickey Finn: Traditional musician (fiddle) from Galway but born in Callow, Foxford, County Mayo. Born December 31, 1951 Died April 15, 1987. A prominent fiddler in the 1970s and 1980s, Finn played with artists like Mary Coughlan, Mick Lally, and Christy Moore, contributing to Mayo’s traditional music legacy.
- Vincent Murtagh (Chenz): Singer-songwriter (folk, acoustic) from Swinford, County Mayo. A looper singer-songwriter, Murtagh’s acoustic music has been likened to Ed Sheeran. He performs at regional events, adding to Mayo’s contemporary scene.
