Air Canada says that “more than sufficient time” remains to settle outstanding issues with its pilots who have legal clearance to strike on September 17.
The airline has introduced a goodwill rebooking policy for customers scheduled to travel between Sept. 15 and 23, allowing changes at no additional cost.
The policy applies to all Air Canada operated flights, including Air Canada mainline, Air Canada Rouge, and Air Canada Express flights operated by Jazz or PAL Airlines.
Customers can rebook to a different flight up to Nov. 30, cancel and retain a future travel credit, or cancel and rebook for after Nov. 30 with waived change fees but may need to pay fare difference.
