Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel has appointed experienced Minor Hotels hotelier Ludo de Jong as General Manager, effective from April 2024, to position the hotel as the social and business hub of the regenerated Docklands.
De Jong has a distinguished career in hospitality, leading high-profile rebranding, pre-opening, and renovation projects, driving market leadership and unforgettable guest experiences through team engagement and gastronomy expertise.
He joins Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel from NH Collection Barbizon Palace Amsterdam and Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam, with previous roles at NH Collection Eindhoven Centre and Marriott International’s Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel.
De Jong is dedicated to innovation and team empowerment, focusing on immersive exploration, world-class dining, and modern wellness, with involvement in EHMA, Rotary International, and KHN, and completion of the General Managers Program at Cornell University.
