Ballyhoura joins new Experience Cork tourism campaign

Ballyhoura Country is joining the new Experience Cork tourism campaign through local businesses Ballyhass Adventure Centre and Praline. The campaign is launching this March and is inviting visitors from across Ireland and overseas to discover Cork through authentic experiences. Ballyhoura Country is featuring outdoor adventure and artisan food offerings from North Cork in the national promotion.

Newly curated itineraries are making it easier for visitors to plan short breaks or longer stays in the region. Guests are enjoying activities at Ballyhass Adventure Centre, exploring walking trails across the Ballyhoura and Galtee Mountains and experiencing locally produced food including handcrafted chocolates from Praline in Mitchelstown. Ballyhass Adventure Centre and Praline are among 16 Cork businesses taking part in the campaign that covers the Wild Atlantic Way, Ireland’s Ancient East and Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands.

Experience Cork’ a new tourism campaign by Visit Cork supported by Fáilte Ireland invites visitors from across Ireland and overseas to discover the county through experiences and tours that celebrate the warmth wit and welcoming nature of Cork people alongside the county’s renowned food scene culture adventure activities and natural beauty.

Séamus Heaney Head of Visit Cork shared “Visitors today are looking for meaningful experiences not just places to stay. The Experience Cork campaign showcases the exceptional depth authenticity and warmth of the region and the people who make it so special.
