Largest Irish pub in the world confirmed in Dubai by Guinness world records

Cutting the ribbon opening the new Garden_ Jason Dixon, CEO – African + Eastern, Michael McBrearty, the Chief Operating Officer of McCafferty’s, and Diageo’s Chairman of the Board, John Manzoni.

McCafferty’s in Jumeirah Village Circle has been recognised by Guinness World Records as the largest Irish bar in the world.

The pub has expanded to a total area of 29,831 sq ft and features 148 taps. The Boyle family, originally from Donegal, commenced their pub venture in 2017 with a single establishment. The new Guinness Garden extension enhances the pub’s offering to patrons in Dubai. The opening ceremony was attended by Jason Dixon, Michael McBrearty, and John Manzoni.

Michael McBrearty shared, “McCafferty’s is now complete with an impressive 148 taps.”

Jason Dixon shared, “Today marks a new chapter for McCafferty’s and the community.”
