
Construction has commenced on a €22m expansion at Lough Rynn Castle Hotel Estate in County Leitrim, with a plan to create 140 new jobs and add 51 bedrooms to the hotel.
The expansion includes a new restaurant scheduled for completion in December 2025 and the first phase of 23 guest rooms expected to launch on May 1, 2026.
This development will enhance both corporate and leisure facilities, aiming to improve the overall guest experience at the estate.
The expansion will also introduce a world-class wellness centre featuring indoor and outdoor pools, along with other luxurious amenities such as a new entrance, lobby, lounges, and a library bar.
General Manager Eoin O’Sullivan confirmed that the construction is on schedule and the hotel is committed to restoring historical outbuildings while cultivating sustainable gardens on the property.
