Irish-listed airline software specialist Datalex reported revenue of €26.06m for 2023, up 23pc.
The company saw a 17pc increase in platform revenue to €12.9m and service revenue to €12.7m.
Datalex renewed partnerships with a Air China, Air Transat, JetBlue and Aer Lingus. It is also working on an activation project with easyJet. It says Aer Lingus and Air China are amongst airlines that will migrate to the group’s new platform products.
Renewals were not signed with Virgin Australia, which plans to change its internal retail programme, SAS which filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy in the USA after a pilot strike, and Latam Airlines, which was first signed last year.
Datalex reported an adjusted loss in EBITDA of €2.6m, an improvement on the €4.8m loss in 2022, and a loss after tax of €8.2m.
New CEO Jonathan Rockett said “the group has signed a number of new customers over the past 18 months, while the renewals last year had boosted recurring revenues for the medium term and have set a solid foundation for future growth. These renewals, along with the related investment by these airlines to migrate to Datalex’s latest product suite, are not only a testament to the value of our long-standing partnerships with customers, but also a vote of confidence in where Datalex is bringing its products over the next three to five years.”
