Visitors to the National Museum of Ireland complained about the display of a dress belonging to performer Panti Bliss and items related to Pride, as well as issues with the use of the Irish language and accessibility for people with mobility difficulties.

The NMI is made up of four museums located in Dublin and Co Mayo, with complaints in 2023 ranging from exhibition contents to practical issues like clamping of cars and lack of accessibility for visitors.

Specific complaints included objections to the dress belonging to Panti Bliss, the presence of Pride and referendum content, and the use of English-only labels for some objects.
