The upcoming ‘Dublin City Council Ceol Country’ festival has changed its venue from Smithfield Square to the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, on August 31st and September 1st, thanks to the Office of Public Works and the National Museum of Ireland for facilitating the change.
The family-friendly, alcohol-free event promises a weekend filled with country music performances, dancing, face-painting, arts & crafts, and more suitable for all ages, featuring talented artists like Philomena Begley, Jimmy Buckley, and headline acts Nathan Carter & Mike Denver.
Interactive dancing lessons and activities will be available for children and adults throughout the weekend, along with arts & crafts and face-painting sessions provided by ArtMaker Dublin.
Tickets for the festival are now sold out, with free entry for children under 3 years old, and all income generated will go towards the Dublin City Council Events Community Fund. Attendees are advised to use public transport due to the alcohol-free policy in place at the event. For more information and updates, visit www.dublin.ie/ceolcountry.
