Dundrum House, Golf and Leisure Resort in Co Tipperary is to cease trading immediately, affecting 48 employees at the venue.
Closure includes the restaurant, bar, golf course, driving range, golf shop, and leisure centre. The decision follows an assessment by the new board regarding financial viability and debts.
A 30-day collective redundancy consultation process will commence later this week.
Brogan Capital Ventures shared, “The company very much regrets the adverse impact of this decision on its valued employees, golf and leisure centre members, customers, suppliers, the local community and other stakeholders, However, it is unavoidable given the state of the company’s financial affairs. The company’s board will work closely with its advisors to ensure that all obligations to employees and other stakeholders are managed appropriately and in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.”
