The lavish wedding of Ally Rice and Sean Fernando from New York City at Adare Manor in Co Limerick has attracted worldwide attention online after footage of the event went viral.
Wedding planner Marcy Blum transformed the five-star resort into a fairytale venue, coordinating efforts that included hundreds of people over an 18-month period.
The wedding featured unique elements such as a gifting lounge with Irish souvenirs and a pub crawl in Adare town during the first night of festivities.
Guests participated in various activities throughout the weekend, including golf, tours of the Cliffs of Moher, and traditional Irish pastimes like falconry and fly fishing.
Wedding planner Marcy Blum shared “Hundreds of people, both local and from around the world, have worked on the event for 18 months. Instead of a traditional wedding welcome bag – we created a suite of Irish essentials. Night 1 at Ally & Sean’s wedding at Adare Manor began with guests following horses & hounds to the town of Adare for a pub crawl and traditional Irish Céilí. The second day of Ally & Sean’s wedding weekend at Adare Manor started off with guest activities around Ireland.”
